The items below are some of the development work I have done for the CMF MODx. All of the documentation and files to run the code can be found by clicking on each item. Feel free to leave me any comments or suggestions to improve any of these items.
Wayfinder is a list builder for the CMF MODx. With a completely customizable layout, Wayfinder can be used to output a list, a table, a definition list, and just about anything else you could imagine. All of the menus for this site use the Wayfinder snippet. Wayfinder is included with the default install of MODx and will let you easily create any menu you might need.
The FileDownload snippet for MODx displays a list of files from a specified directory for downloading. Used in conjunction with the filedownload plugin it offers secure downloads with download counting. The snippet has built in template support with many parameters that allow for unlimited customization.
The DittoCal snippet creates a monthly calendar for displaying your blog posts or any other document from MODx. DittoCal takes its data from a JSON page created by the Ditto snippet and then converts it into a calendar showing the most recent document first. The output also contains links to previous months so the user can view all of the posts.
The AjaxSearch snippet is an enhanced version of the original FlexSearchForm snippet for MODx. This snippet adds AJAX functionality on top of the robust content searching. There are two seperate ways to handle the dynamic searching with either live search functionailty or by allowing the user to start the search with the typical form buttom. Both return the results in the current window with some nice effects.
